Estimated one-rep max
An estimated one-rep max uses a logged set to predict the most weight you might lift once.
Estimated one-rep max: a practical example
For example, an app uses the weight and completed reps in a set to display an estimated 1RM.
Use it in your log
When you log your workout, keep this in mind: it is a model, not a measured maximum or an instruction to attempt that weight.
Next, use the workout log to keep names, weights and reps in one place. Then check your progress across sessions.
