Rep

A rep is one full repeat of an exercise move.

Rep: a practical example

For example, lowering and raising the weight once in a dumbbell curl is one rep. Eight repetitions make eight reps.

Use it in your log

When you log your workout, keep this in mind: keep the movement consistent when comparing reps between sessions.

Next, use the workout log to keep names, weights and reps in one place. Then check your progress across sessions.
