Effective 8 October 2026.
Who we are
GameLiftEat (gamelifteat.com) is run by its founder, Pedro Zabala. This page covers this website and the email lists you can join on it.
What we collect and why
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages people read, so we can tell what’s useful. It sets cookies and collects information such as the pages you view, your device and browser, and your approximate location. Read Google’s privacy policy to see how Google handles that data. You can opt out with Google’s browser add-on.
Newsletter and merch waitlist
If you sign up for Field Notes or the merch waitlist, we store your email address (and your first name, if you give one) in our own content management system, whose database is hosted by Supabase. We also store a hashed version of your IP address, your browser type and the page you signed up from, to prevent spam.
We haven’t started sending the newsletter yet. When we do, we’ll use an email service provider, name it on this page, and put an unsubscribe link in every email.
Hosting
Our host keeps standard server logs, such as your IP address, your browser and the time of each request. These help keep the site secure and reliable.
Content delivery
Some images on this site load from our content system at zabalazone.com, so your browser connects to that server to fetch them.
What we don’t do
We don’t sell or rent personal information, and we don’t use ad networks.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in any email.
- Ask us to delete your email address or other data by writing to hello@gamelifteat.com.
- Block cookies in your browser settings, or use Google’s opt-out add-on for analytics.
Children
This site isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll update the effective date at the top of this page.
