GameLiftEat (gamelifteat.com) is run by its founder, Pedro Zabala. “We” and “us” on this page mean GameLiftEat.
The notes aren’t medical advice
Field Notes share general information and personal experience about food, movement and gaming. They aren’t medical, nutrition or fitness advice for you personally, and they can’t replace a professional who knows your health. Check with a doctor or dietitian before you change how you eat or train, especially if you have a health condition, an injury or you’re pregnant. Stop any exercise that hurts. Our editorial policy explains how the notes are written and sourced.
Sharing our work
The writing, photos and design on this site belong to GameLiftEat unless a credit says otherwise. You’re welcome to link to any page and to quote a short passage with credit and a link back. Please don’t copy whole notes or photos to another site without asking first.
Game names and other trademarks mentioned here belong to their owners. Mentioning them doesn’t mean they sponsor or endorse GameLiftEat.
Newsletter and merch waitlist
Signing up is free, and you can unsubscribe at any time. Joining the merch waitlist doesn’t reserve or buy anything: nothing is for sale yet, and when the shop opens it will show its own prices, shipping and returns before you pay. Our privacy policy explains what happens to your details.

Please don’t try to break, overload or get around the security of the site, send automated or fake signups, or scrape it in a way that slows it down for everyone else.

Notes link to studies, products and other sites so you can check our sources. We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for what they say or do.

We work to keep the notes accurate and up to date, but we can’t promise they’re free of mistakes or right for your situation, and the site may sometimes be unavailable. As far as the law allows, we aren’t liable for loss or harm that comes from using the site or relying on what it says. Nothing here takes away rights you have by law that can’t be signed away.
