Range of motion
Range of motion is how far you move a joint or travel through a rep.
Range of motion: a practical example
For example, a squat's depth is one part of the movement range you use.
Use it in your log
When you log your workout, keep this in mind: record deliberate changes in range when comparing workouts, because they change the task.
Next, use the workout log to keep names, weights and reps in one place. Then check your progress across sessions.
