Drop set
A drop set extends a set: you lower the weight, then do more reps.
Drop set: a practical example
For example, after a set of curls, you switch to lighter dumbbells and continue.
Use it in your log
When you log your workout, keep this in mind: mark the change in load. A drop set differs from starting a fresh set after a normal rest.
Next, use the workout log to keep names, weights and reps in one place. Then check your progress across sessions.
